The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m.
Secretary Treasurer Rudnicki provided the required statutory declaration.
The Board welcomed Robert Chartrand to the position of Assistant Superintendent for a three-month term. The board received notice of resignation of Assistant Superintendent Mia Guenther.
Trustee Nemeth shared highlights from the National Trustee Gathering on Education, Innovation and Reconciliation. Trustee Simunyola shared highlights from the Canadian Congress of Black Parliamentarians conference.
The Senior Leadership Team provided information on capital projects, the Leadership Team meeting of Sept. 1, 2026, City of Winnipeg bus pass program, summer learning, June 2025 graduation rates, school zone safety improvements, physical and health education curriculum pilot, and student accidents from January 1 to June 30, 2026.
Protocols and appendices supporting Policy AC, Policy ADD, and ACH were updated.
