Powwow Club

We are pleased to extend an invitation to all students, families, and staff within the Louis Riel School Division to participate in the 2024/2025 Divisional Powwow Club.

The Powwow Club will take place at Lavallee/René Deleurme Centre (RDC) 511 St. Anne’s Rd. on Wednesdays from 6–7:30 p.m. 

The Powwow Club will provide teachings, and instruction to three groups: 

• Group 1: K-6 Instruction for Fancy Shawl and Grass Dance
• Group 2: 7-12 Instruction for Fancy Shawl and Grass Dance
• Group 3: Caregivers will have the opportunity to spend time with Kookum Hilda for community teachings and conversations.

Participants and caregivers will be provided with a light snack during the sessions.
